Mark Ramsey Smith

Mark Ramsey Smith pretends to be in the military and contacted me and we started chatting. Of course he told me everything a woman would like to hear. Supposedly a soldier fighting for our country in Baghdad Iraq. He said he lived in New Mexico. Has a house and horse ranch in TX. Is retiring in March and looking for a serious relationship. Has a son in New Mexico living with his sister name Pauline....all lies I am sure. Then he asked for a phone because he didn't have one. Something in my gut told me he was a scam, so I started asking him for his .mil address which he never gave me and started researching scams on line and continued looking on line and didn't find anything until I saw the other woman's blog. Too many things didn't add up, his accent, his spelling. If he was a Bridadier in the Marines he should have enough money to buy his own phone. Also gave me an address in Ohio to send the phone to if I really wanted to help him. I researched the address and got a name and phone number for the person that lives at that address. I have called three times and every time an old style automated answering machine picks up, now days the machine could be routed from any country. I was not stupid enough to send him a phone or money, but I did email him a piece of my mind.
It is really sad that there are actual soldiers in Iraq fighting for our country and a piece of trash like him is doing this to women. Please beware!!!!
