I registered on a site londonrentals.com to search for a flat in London.
The "owner" gets in touch with me to say he lives in Portugal and sends me a passport with a name Miguel Ferreira Conde to say he can rent his flat out to me. 2 bed and 2 bath in sloane square for £950PCM, tries to explain the ridiculously low price by saying it s because he didnt use letting agents. I decided to do a quick search using the name and email address provided and stumbled upon other peoples report on this scam. Please beware if it appears to good to be true it most probably is.
