In 2004, “Anonymous” asked me to help him gather and seek permission to use music in a video he was producing. We identified his wish-list of music, and I requested synch licenses for permission to use the music in the video. Some of these requests were approved by the appropriate rights holders. Some weren’t. In either scenario, the “job” (i.e., gathering music/seeking licenses), was in fact performed.-Oswaldo M. Rossi
