Eddy Anderson

Online Dating

Lagos, MD. GA. USA

I dont know for sure that he is a scammer, but better be safe than sorry. We met on an online dating site 4 months ago. He fell in love with me within days of chatting. He said he was a construction engineer and was building a churck in SA. He had to leave 3 weeks after we had been talking. He has continued to communicate with me on a daily basis and has never asked for money. However, I found his accent not to go with the picture and did my own research. His name was nowhere to be found. Only a number registered in VA with a British answering service. I confronted him several times about my doubts and he always said to trust him. I finally confronted him after he asked me to pick up a western union being sent to my name and send it to someone else, Eddy Anderson in Nigeria, for orphans. He said he was building a churck in Nigeria. After my confrontation, he admitted that he was not the man in the pictures and gave me what is supposed to be his real name. He said he is from Nigeria and never ment to hurt me or take any money from me. I want to believe him, but with everything I am reading, it is becoming very difficult to know where the lies end and the truth begin, if at all. He has promised to get on webcam so I can see him. If anyone has encountered this same scenario please post a comment. I would really like advise on how I can confirm if he is now being honest or still lying. Also, if I WU this money that someone else is sending me for this orphanage, and it turns out to be a scam, what am I encountering?

Omg. He is now going by the name of George Gbise and his email address is georgegbise@yahoo.com. He is also on facebook stating he graduated from Harvard and is an enginner for Shell oil. He goes on and tells a story that he will leave shell and bid on a job in lagos so he can make enough money to come to the states. In the meantime, he is requesting you send money because the bridge loan will not take place until the job is half way complete. He stated that he is originally from the UK and sent me a copy of a passport that said his name was George Obise.

He is a scam artist...
