Chase Bank

Fraudulent Billing

Los Angeles, California, 90068

Chase added a "fee" of $50. to my Line of Credit invoice. When I inquired, I was told the $50. was an "annual fee to cover checks that would permit me to access funds from my Line of Credit". Here's the problem: More than two years earlier, Chase FROZE that Line of Credit, because real estate prices in my area had declined. Therefore, Chase added $50 to my bill to cover checks that I would never be able to use.

This was an example of FRAUDULENT BILLING by CHASE.

It took me 45 minutes to get the charge reversed "as a one-time courtesy". It took me another 20 minutes to (apparently) get my account tagged so that this "fee" would not be levied again.

My question: How many people have CHASE SCAMMED in this way, who did NOT take their valuable time to force them to be honest? And how can a huge company like CHASE MORTGAGE get away with this ILLEGAL BILLING PRACTICE?
