Bryan Hawkins Kenpo Karate

I am a former karate dad.
My young son used to attend Bryan Hawkins Kenpo Karate at his West Los Angeles, C.A. dojo.

It has taken me a very long time to come forth, though anonymously, to post a Report about my son's abuse at the hands of Bryan Hawkins and his son Vince Hawkins.
And the reason I have come forth now is because I was fortunate enough to see & read the other recent articles and Reports on the con artist and extremely dishonest individual that Mr. Bryan Hawkins is.
The reason that I have not publicly posted my son's abuse and resultant trauma is because Mr. Hakins threatened me with massive retaliation by him and trouble from the police department (Such as but not limited to) being followed and pulled over and harassed by the L.A.P.D. police, (False) arrest and much worse.
Bryan Hawkins has a son who is a police officer with the L.A.P.D. in Los Angeles County.
And the sexual abuse was by both Bryan Hawkins and his youngest son, Vince Hawkins who is approximately no older than 18 years old at this time.
The self-entitled behaviour, abusiveness, greed, and other abominable behaviour of Bryan Hawkins extends to his family, his wife, and his sons and daughter Helena.

My son was only nine years old when Bryan Hawkins had gained my trust with his ways of manipulation.
Perhaps all of his young students have not been molested and raped by him and son, but quite a few, far too many, have been.
And the parents of each and every one of these many young children have been threatened from speaking up or filing police reports and have been coerced into silence.
My son is now almost 13 years old, but no longer an innocent.
He is now a young kid with massive anxiety and shame issues, anger problems, he suffers sleep deprivation, nightmares, concentration issues and of course constant physical pain and sometimes even still some internal bleeding due to the harm and damages caused to him by Bryan Hawkins and Vince Hawkins.
I worry that no amount of weekly counseling and psychological intervention will completely heal him and that he will suffer the harm for the rest of his life into adulthood.
My message to the public is that just because someone has many many people convinced that he is a supposed good guy and that those many have might claim that they've not had issues with him, does not at all in any manner mean that the person in question is a good individual.
We can clearly see from history and even from simple research that there have been countless people who have had a large population convinced that they are amazing and yet they have been the most abominable people to exist.
It is easy to spot an underhanded liar and cheat and toxic person just by being able to really open your eyes and see their obvious actions.
As the original Reporter has outlined in a clear and concise manner, how can someone be good when they abuse the good nature and willingness of their friends in order to extract continual free labor and even other miscellaneous free services from them and work them to the core and never compensate them with any pay?
Worse yet, Bryan Hawkins works other minor, young teens under the age of 18 by requiring them to work at least 2 or more days per week to teach his classes and students while he profits from the paying students yet never shares any of it by paying the kids working for him.
And he does so by blackmailing them.
He may not say it directly. But he does very openly infer that if they want to reach status of brown or black belt and/or remain in his Kenpo community, then they must work and work for free.
And it does not take an article and Report to realize that this is just another form of child trafficking.
Yet the original Report does spell it out that this is certainly child trafficking.
And even when the parents are in agreement, this just means that the parents have been manipulated by Bryan Hawkins too.
And if someone is so willing to profit from others for free and never pay them, then how can people not consider that that same person is willing to commit other far more atrocious actions against vulnerable individuals such as little boys?
This is called discernment.
And obviously many people still lack the self-preservation and discernment that they need.
I admit that I, too, was at one time manipulated by the phony show and lies of Bryan Hawkins and his family.
And it took an extremely damaging life event, the abuse of my son, to be able to use my own discernment.
And the problem is that it will take a lot more abuse and damages to other children and even adults before parents and other members are willing to have the blinders removed and willing to see the real Bryan Hawkins and to stop their children, spouses, family, themselves from taking his classes anymore and more over to demand their monies back and stop associating with him.
