CURTIS WINKLE

MONEY BEGGER

Los Angeles, California

Met at Seniorpeoplemeet.com and lured me into exchanging chat into yahoo chat immediately. Was very loving, caring, and thoughtful. He was everything a woman can hope for except that he was not real. His story begins with I am a computer engineer, widow for 8 years, wife and son died on a car crash and have one daughter going to school, live by himself. He is financially stable and contracts from different companies. One day (accrding to him) he had to go to this big worldwide computer conference in LA that they all had to be confined during the duration of the conference because they were talking about classified new programs with Apple and Microsoft. BUT HE LOST HIS WALLET so he calls because he really needs money badly. His credit cards and money is gone with wallet. He could not go out of the hotel because they were not allowed. He said he called his bank but the bank wants him to appear in person, but he can't so he needs help. He said he did not need the money himself but had to be sent via money gram to Uraine to a woman named CHRISTINA SOROKINA because that's where the headquarters is. So, no big deal send a couple thousand, then he comes back again for more. He needs to buy equipment from this conference to test before he is given any contract and wants $5000.00 this time to be sent to the same person in Ukraine. According to him his bank locked his account because it has been compromised and couldn't get money from them until things get settled from the bank. His bank cannot do anything for him right away because they are looking into the matter still, but he will pay me as soon as he gets paid from his contract and his account released. In the meantime, he wants me to borrow from my retirement account or make a car loan using my car as collateral. He will pay everything back and more ones he is given this contract. Just need money for the equipment he needs to test for these computer companies. He was persistent and insistent in getting money. Just then my instinct told me to search him again, and wondered who this guy really is and was led to this site. Curious I looked through the names and saw CURTIS WINKLE. Read it and what do you know. Same scenario, different setting. Different face. So whoever posted the scam about Curtis Winkle. THANK YOU SO MUCH. Hope this will help somebody as well. He may be using DIFFERENT FACES each time he lures somebody. IFTHERE IS A TRUE CURTIS WINKLE out there and the faces you see is not yours, please notify authrities...YOUR IDENTITY MAY HAVE BEEN STOLEN BY THESE SCAMMERS.

OMG the same thing happened to me I lost 4000.00 to an Arthur Smith wealthy antique dealer needd money because he was robbed at the port of call. Met him on ok cupid.com I am so sorry. Thank you for posting this. i wish I had save a picture of my rodent but I did not. I did have him kicked off the okcupid sight though the only response I ever got back from him after not sending any more money was one in which he stated I said bad things about him and abused him. LOL It is sad really. it is. Women beware
BOTTOM LINE WOMEN, PLEASE, DON'T SEND MONEY TO SOMEONE YOU DON'T KNOW AND HAVE NEVER MET IN PERSON!!!! I CAN'T BELIEVE PEOPLE STILL FALL FOR THESE SCAMS!!!!
