Tom Seifman

Tom Seifman of Vegas Materials is on of the biggest scam artists in town. I was employed with him for years. I did EVERYTHING and I mean EVERYTHING for that company. I did purchasing, accounting, customer service, stocking shelves, cleaning, you name it. He approached me one day and asked if I would also do the deliveries. I accepted only because he said if I did this, there would be a raise involved. This was the only way I could see getting a raise, seems how I didn't have one for atleast two years.

At the end of the first two weeks of assuming the delivery responsibility (even though he had a delivery driver); my raise was not in my weekly check. I asked him about it and he was quite rude.

The following week, he was cold/rude/ignored me. On that Friday, he took me into our office, shut the door and proceeded to fire me because I "should have known there is a three month probation period prior to a raise; it's common sense." Well, he never mentioned a "probation period."

He sits around and watches baseball all day with his driver, John. He never allowed a lunch break for me or john, but somehow he always found time to leave for hours on end to go shooting with his brother, luinch, to the bar, etc.

I was sexually harassed by several of his customers. Many times right infront of him. I asked him repeatedly to have them stop; on top of asking them myself. It never stopped. He even made remarks of his own to me of a sexual nature.

I hate to break it to his wife (if she's reading this), on a few of the weekend trips he went on with his brother/friends, he got wasted (a daily occurence for him) and ended up messing around with some strippers. He even said his brother had to come in a break up the festivites and he was so drunk he doesn't remember "what he did with the girls."

Anyway, stay away from Tom Seifman and Vegas Materials.
