William Anderson

Match.com scam

Winston Salem, North Carolina, 27101

This guy will chat with you briefly on match.com and ask you to go to yahoo chat. He will claim he is from Australia. living in NC but out of the country in Nigeria on business. He will start asking you for money from you for his hurt daughter Ann. Don't believe a word he says. He is a sweet talker and you will fall into his web if you are not careful. He will send you love letters which were wonderful but I am sure were copied of some poem sight. I have posted pics of him that he sent to me and one of him with his so called daughter. I really believe that the pics are not the person I have been talking to. I am not sure who the people really are in the pictures. I believe I have been talking to a Nigerian all along. The are evil, hateful people be careful.

did you send him money? if so, please report it to the FBI
See second posting 5/21/2011, for William Anderson...He's now using Florida as home state and different pictures, but it's basically the same scamm. Beware:he's good at this and quite possibly has other identities as well.
Hello, I am the first to respond on this so called Australian from Winston Salem, NC. I had talked to him on the phone a couple of times. He had given me his phone number and it was a Nigerian phone number. I should have known then that it was all a scam coming from NIgeria. I am thinking of reporting him to the FBI. There has got to be some way of catching this con-artist. He had to of used a credit card to pay for the Match.com sight. I had talked or chatted with him for over a month. I have a lot to say but not on here. How would I get in touch with the FBI in reporting him?
Hi, Try the largest nearby city to you for the local FBI office. I would call first and see what kind of documentation they will need, ie. email headers with ip addresses, phone #'s, screen names, copy's of Im's etc. If you actually gave him money, I would think they should be interested in atleast talking to you, if not, I'm not sure there is anything they can do. But you are right he should be stopped. I also reported him to Match.com, (I am the second notice here), but the third report of him on this site shows up after I cut communication and reported him, so he's still on Match.com and I'm pretty sure he's come at me under a new identity in the past week already, so beware of that possibility as well. Post another message if I there is anything more I can do to help you.
Thank you for responding back. I would just like to see this horrible person caught. I would like to also know who are these people in the pictures. I am sure who we have talked to are not the people in the pictures. Has he stolen their identity? He is a sick person.
