William Anderson

Found on match.com

Clermont, Florida

William as he called himself said he lived in Clermont, Fl with his daughter, Linda. He was very sweet at first and very romantic. He said his Canadian wife had cheated on him. That is why he got a divorce. He wanted to get onto IM chat and did not want to meet for a while. He sent me ecards and one phone call on my birthday. He said his mother was from Turkey and that is why he had an accent. Sometimes his grammar was poor and at other times you could tell he was using poetry or someelse's words. He was very inconsistent with information and avoided answering some of my questions. He said he had to go to Ghana/Africa for a contract so we would not be able to meet for 6 weeks. Then he started acting like he needed money. His daughter was sick, he needed clothes, etc. He was a very good liar and I hope he gets caught.

Good people looking for good people is almost a ..............LOL...........moment! I know social sites are a hot bed of deceit so my dear I am happy to see you vent this! My "Widow Prey" experience is also thanks to so called Mr. Wonderful on Match.com. I will only be dealing with local listings that I can meet face to face from here out. It's nice to dream a little dream, but remember we have to wake up in the REAL world and face ourselves tomorrow. My best moto is that we are GUARDIAN of a most valuable possession and that is..............our HEART. BE OPTIMISTIC because there is a SPECIAL REAL person out there waiting for each of us but be careful of the bumps in the road, the games, deceitful lies, and scams. There is more of those out there than there are really good people!!!! BEST OF LUCK TO YOU! I reported my scam to Match.com and they are suppose to block his profile, but I assure you as I breath they will be right back on there as someone else and you'll known none the better about it!
Ah, I see he is still at it. My encounter with "William" was posted here on 5/20/11, and mine was the second report of him. Five days after I cut off all contact with him, he Im'd me on yahoo, using a slightly different screen name. I had blocked him, and the only way I can figure he would have known I was even online was he was also logged onto Match.com at the same time I was. I have further reason to believe that he is presently coming after me again with a new identity. You'd think they would learn! Ladies...beware, he's like that bad penny!
