Grabswag

Grabswag don't use they are a scam

Pasadena, Maryland

Just like the others I signed up for the free bids and was charged 99 bucks also, the worse part is that I couldn't get back into the login page without putting through a credit card again which ofcourse I didn't do. Do not go through with their signup its complete bull. I disputed the charge with my credit card and am trying to get through to them

I just went through the same thing.
Their number is 1-888-467-4217.
They said they can only refund 50% back to me. I am now waiting.
I fell for the grabswag bait & switch deal yesterday.

All i saw on their now spam window was 10 free bids when signing up. I don't recall seeing anything about the $99.00 fee.
Since I did not see anything about the sign up fee , I continued to register.
I filled in all required personal info and C Card info.
When I finished the Card info the grabswag site did "Not" give me an option to ok or cancel and instantly charged me & congratulated me for being one more fool.
I called the grabswag service dept and was told thatr when I agreed to sign up and provided my Card info it was a binding agreement and the $99.00 charge would not be refunded.
Am I blind or did I not see the fine print with this deal ?? I did not see anything in the First signup windows about the 10 free bids costing $99.oo. Anyone else have this problem ??.

Seems I will be wasting plenty of time now filing complaints with the BBB, FTC, Texas AG & Discover.
Why companies like these think they can scam & get away with it is amazing.

I would not have signed up for the Free $99.00 membership if I had an option to cancel before I saw that there wasn't even a Submit Button.
I would not have continued with the signup if I had seen that there wasn't even a Submit & or Cancel Button. As soon as I typed the last letter in the Card info window it went through without any choice. Period. I instantly knew that I had Been Scammed.
Like everyone else I signed up for the 10 free bids not realizing they were going to charge me $99.00 I called and I got 50% of my money back and I was allowed to keep the bids. Whoopee I would rather have all my money back. It is definately a scam!
They have scammed $500 just from people that have posted back about this. We need to do something about this website. Let everyone know about this terrible scam. I have to contact my bank again when the authorization goes through to file a dispute.
