Unauthorized Charges to Credit Card

San Antonio, Texas

Grabswag leads you to their website with promises of Great Saving on Great Merchandise for pennies on the dollar plus S/H. They also reel you in with "10 FREE bids" ....After you get to their special 10 free bid site....they want you to sign up by placing your credit card number, expiration date, mailing zip code, and lastly to hit the SUBMIT button to start winning. They dont ask for your name....address or email...they dont even give you a chance to authorize a charge to your credit card. I wanted to see the site so I entered the info requested and the next screen I see is a big THANK YOU and your credit card has been charged $99.00 and now have 132 bids plus 10 FREE!! WOW....10 FREE bids really cost 99.00!! I emailed with no reply, called put on hold for 20 minutes and then disconnected. And if that is not enough to make you mad.....I cant even return to the site to log in...they dont recognize me....DUHHHH they didnt get my name or email!! I ask...HOW can they do this and get away with it??? How can they charge a credit card without a name? I will not stop until my account is fully credited back my 99.00!! This is my first stop.....The press will be notified next....So if I have to spend 99.00 without authoization.....its going to be worth it. I intend to shut them down!
And by the way Grabswag.....I know that NEXTOWN TECHNOLOGIES IS YOUR ALIAS....and based in TEXAS and FLORIDA... So if NEXTOWN doesnt want to answer to the press.....REFUND ME NOW....and good luck figuring out who i am!
DO NOT GO TO THIS SITE>>AND DO NOT GIVE YOUR CREDIT CARD NUMBER TO THEM...

TOTAL SCAM...TOTAL FRAUD....And soon A TOTAL BUST!

I had the same thing happen. Grabswag would not refund me anything. I reported it to government internet fraud and scams. I will not let this one get away Totally un ethical company. I want to save others from having this happen.
For those who read my posting and have had the same thing happen to them...I want you all to know that they WILL refund your money. I was able to get the company on the phone...and for the first 15 minutes I listened to a rep tell me that it was all my doing and that they could not and would not refund me. I was not going to give up...I argued with the rep telling her that this was major fraud and I would go to the media listed on their website and report all of this unauthorize charges. She put me on hold and when she came back she offered me 25% refund. Again, I told her that she obviously was not listening to me...and I demanded a full refund. Again...I was on hold and when she returned she had a final offer of 50% of my money back. At this point I moved up the chain of command and demanded to talk with her supervisor. The supervisor again offered me the 50%, which I refused. After some time of arguing and demanding...the supervisor offered me a refund of 74.25 and 150 free bids. i told him to keep his bids...and that I would settle for the 74.25 (and would chalk it up to a lesson learned for me). Within 2 days my 74.25 was back into my account and my bank refunded me the balance as of yesterday! So there is hope..Call them and do not give up! They will refund as long as you have not used their website.
