Josephus Eggelletion
Money Laundering Fool
Lauderdale Lakes, Florida
Josephus Eggelletion, who, as a former county commissioner and former state Representative, was one of Broward's top elected officials, has agreed to plead guilty to a money laundering conspiracy on Thursday, his attorneys confirmed.
Eggelletion, 60, of Lauderdale Lakes, faces a maximum of five years in federal prison and a fine of up to $250,000, his attorneys Johnny McCray Jr. and Ben Kuehne said.
The felony conviction would also end the suspended Democratic commissioner's 20-year career in politics.
