If you ever bought any electronics from an electronics store you have been offered an extended warranty for a small fee on top of your purchase price. Why the product does not come with this warranty seems ridiculous, but I guess we have the option to purchase more coverage. Beware when purchasing this coverage that you must comply with the warranty’s explicit rules or you will get NOTHING. After purchasing an IPOD from Circuit City (which yes went out of business) who is still honoring their extended warranties through a 3rd party company I was unable to claim on my warranty and repair my IPOD. As I am not an IPOD technician I have no idea why the problem was not covered, but he assured me that is was not covered. So IPOD is still broken and once again screwed by another EXTENDED WARRANTY.
