Verbal Pet / Jennifer Lutz

Pet "Trainer" - ZERO RESULTS

St Petersburg, Florida

I want to share my experience working with Jennifer Lutz and Verbal Pet. I utilized her "boarding school" for my 9 month old doxie. Her issues were separation anxiety, housebreaking and learning basic commands. Jennifer kept in SPARSE communication and kept my dog for 3 months. At the end of the 3 months, my dog was NOT housebroken, had scar marks from a metal "training collar" and was completely infested with fleas. She did nothing to improve her separation anxiety and has not responded to any of my communications. I have tried to call and email her multiple times to get a refund of my money with NO RESPONSE WHATSOEVER. I DO NOT recommend this circumstance for anyone. The ONLY result I received was spending over $1,500 and a lot of stress.

I have tried to reach out to Jennifer, and am still trying to get a refund! I have gone so far as to contact a lawyer and am wiling to take this to small claims court. I am also going to let everyone know about my experience- and if you want your dog trained, find a PROFESSIONAL.

I do not know who you are, but I just had to call the police to get my little puppy back, American Pitbull Terrier, blue. I contacted her to help me with training and jumping issues, to teach her commands and I enrolled my dog in her boot camp. I gave her $675 down and my dog was gone for three weeks. Every day I tried to contact her either by phoning her or IM'ing her. I would rarely get responses. I would get vague pictures of my dog. I had no idea where my dog was except I was told she didn't like being kenneled. After the second week I got a bad feeling because I asked if I could come and see my dog and see what commands they were working on. Never got an answer. Then I began requesting that she bring my dog back. That's when I finally got a response of she wasn't ready yet. By the third week because I couldn't get her to communicate with me, I texted her and just told her to drop my dog off this Saturday. It took for me to call the police and file a police report and a call from the police to bring my dog back. When I got her back not one command, not one, she was wilder than before. The underside of her neck was red and raw, she had wounds on her joints and her feet were torn up. I am going to call the Attorney General's office to file a complaint to get my money back. It would be useful if we both would complain so that we can prevent this from happening to others. Jennifer has only taken a 14 week dog course, she is not accredited, not a behavioralist. This is a total scam! Please get in touch with me.
