John didion or Jt Didion construction one of a few Names he goes by,Be careful of this guy ,He is a complete scam will start your job may or may not finish but when it is done if it goes that far.It is where the real trouble begins, That's when the Subcontractors and material suppliers start filing liens against you being Mr Didion does not pay his bills,He is known to skip town,with out paying others ,Leaving you the owner not only broke because he he charges outrageous prices for extras,but then when you have paid him all your money he will skip town without paying his subs and suppliers.....This is just one of his scams if you come across this guy be very careful as he also has a temper when confronted on his criminal activity,He is a complete scam artist and probably of the worst type being he has in his own mind that he was the one wronged,even when you have all the documentation to prove otherwise,The guy has real mental issues and can twist the story in his own little wicked mind ,That he is the victim....Just be careful and bewared.....In my opinion he has potential to be violent with the right people those whom appear weaker than him he preys on those types,He comes off as a good ol boy but it is all a front.In my situation he backed off being he knew better and I can be what every the situation warrants Legal or physical...I gave him a choice and chose to just leave wise decision. Let me introduce myself. My name is Scott and I am the Owner of Carpet One of Lompoc. I would
like minute of your time to address the above issues. I have done flooring for John going on close to a decade, I am one of the Sub-Contractors that John uses. I do not know the particulars of the Job that the Anonymous poster above is describing but I find it interesting that I as a sub have been paid in a timely manner on every job I have done for John and have never heard any of the other Sub's that I come into contact with on Johns job complain about payment.
John still currently resides on the Central Coast and operates Didion Construction a fully licensed, bonded, and insured company. So Im unsure about the whole Skip town thing. As to having a temper in 10 years of Sub Contracting I have never seen John lose his temper. As to the accusations of John having "Mental Issues" and a Little wicked Mind" I think the above Anonymous poster is well lets say just a tad unbalanced. I rarely take the time to post but when I see what I believe is a gross Injustice being done to a Person who has proven over the span of a decade to be a truthful, Straight forward and honest Contractor I cannot stand Idly by.
